Procore AI and Datagrid are now better at recognizing the relationships between different types of project records (RFIs, submittals, daily logs, observations, punch list items, meetings, change orders, and change events). A new construction ontology layer gives the AI a shared map of these concepts and relationships. When a question crosses tools, the AI’s answers are more likely to draw on the right related record types instead of stopping at the first connection it finds. This ontology also helps Procore AI and Datagrid understand construction vocabulary in context. For example, it can tell whether “subs” means subcontractors or submittals depending on the question’s context. Paired with the AI reasoning that already powers project search and other tools in Procore AI and Datagrid, this enhancement helps a broader question come back as one connected answer that aligns with how the project work fits together. There's nothing new to find in the UI. This enhancement applies automatically wherever you already ask a question, whether that's the Procore AI side panel or the standalone Datagrid product.
